Broadview Custom Coursepacks
A substantial and ever-increasing percentage of The Broadview Anthology of British Literature—now in the range of 30 per cent—is published online. By “published
online” we mean: edited, annotated, and introduced with the same
thoroughness, and to the same high editorial and production standards,
as the materials published in bound book form.
We are pleased to offer custom coursepacks that combine readings from any volume(s) of the bound book and/or from the online component of The Broadview Anthology of British Literature. You are also welcome to incorporate any of the excellent supplementary content, including author introductions, "In Context" sections, maps, information on British currency, chronologies, bibliographies, or glossaries.
For added flexibility, you may also incorporate readings from several of our other British Literature anthologies, including but not limited to the following:

Coursepacks are available either in the traditional bound book form or in electronic form. For more information on these options, please contact us at coursepacks@broadviewpress.com.
HOW IT WORKS:
If you decide to go ahead with our coursepack option, please browse the Tables of Contents of the available anthologies using the links above and then submit your list of required readings to coursepacks@broadviewpress.com (a Word document or a list within the body of the email itself is fine). We will assemble a coursepack file and will follow up in a day or two with a price quote and a custom ISBN which you will need to send along to the bookstore.
We will assemble, print, and shop these coursepacks ourselves. Coursepacks are attractively produced, with perfect binding and a cardstock color cover. Each coursepack will be treated as a book, and will be given an ISBN to be sold at your university shop.
BOUND COURSEPACKS (price, returns, and time limitations):
Coursepacks are priced at $0.10 per page plus a base price of $9.00 per coursepack for orders of more than 35 copies or a base price of $13.00 per coursepack for orders of less than 35 copies. Please note that in-copyright readings from the Broadview Anthology of British Literature will cost an additional $0.10 per page to account for permissions fees; with the exception of the 20th century volume, this content is fairly minimal.
In order to ensure that coursepacks are ready in time for class use, we recommend that orders are placed at least six weeks prior to the start of term; this will allow enough time to have the coursepacks printed, shipped to our warehouse, and then sent off to your bookstore. You should ensure that your list of required readings is submitted to us at least a week prior to placing your order with the bookstore.
Please note that a maximum of 10% of coursepack orders are returnable.
E-COURSEPACKS:
Digitial coursepacks are assembled via a custom interface powered by AcademicPub, which allows you to assemble a coursepack using readings found in the Broadview content library; you can also include your own Word and PDF files, as well as articles from the web. If you choose to include in-copyright materials drawn from other sources, AcademicPub will clear permissions in real time. To assemble a custom e-coursepack, please email coursepacks@broadviewpress.com and we will be happy to assist you; the title if your course, the name of your institution, and a course syllabus or list of coursepack readings will be required.
We are continually adding Broadview content to the library, but if you have particular requests, please contact coursepacks@broadviewpress.com and we will do our best to make these readings available as soon as possible.
Broadview content is priced at $0.07 per page. In addition to these content charges, AcademicPub will charge a platform fee of either $5.00 (for orders with content charges of up to $25.00), $9.00 (for orders with content charges of up to $100.00), or $14.00 (for orders with content charges of more than $100.00). If students prefer to order a bound rather than an electronic coursepack from AcademicPub, additional printing and shipping charges of approximately $15.00 will apply depending on your location.
