Comprehensive study questions for each of the book’s eight chapters have been added to the documents page. Along with short- and long-answer questions on content, each set features questions regarding the maps, plates, and terms introduced in each chapter.
NOW Available - Companion Collection of Documents and Readings
Broadview is thrilled to announce the publication of Barbara Rosenwein’s new edited collection Reading the Middle Ages: Sources from Europe, Byzantium, and the Islamic World. Spanning from c.300 to c.1500, this invaluable complement to A Short History Of the Middle Ages incorporates, in a systematic fashion, Islamic and Byzantine materials alongside Western readings, thereby facilitating comparisons within and between cultures. Further information about the reader is available here.
